Canyon Stone has been and is continually tested and certified by independent accredited laboratories to ensure the integrity and quality of our finished products. Canyon Stone Warranty
Customer Service is our passion. Most architectural stone is manufactured by one company and installed by another often causing dispute over warranty resolution. Not at Canyon Stone and Installation because we manufacture and install the majority of our own products. - Fifty (50) Year Limited Warranty on Products produced by Canyon Stone and Installation.
This Warranty is limited to the original owner/purchaser of Canyon Stone and Installation’s product and is not transferable or assignable. Any action for breach of this Warranty must be commenced within one (1) year after the action has accrued.
All products produced by Canyon Stone and Installation shall be free from defect for a period of fifty (50) years commencing on the date of purchase or when they were installed. This warranty is void if Canyon Stone and Installation’s product were not installed according to the manufactures written installation instructions and only if used on a structure that conforms to local building codes and was inspected by local building officials where required.
At its sole discretion, Canyon Stone and Installation will repair, replace, or provide new product to correct any product found to be defective. Canyon Stone and Installation is not liable for incidental, consequential or special damages, without limitation, or labor costs to remove or replace any defective product.
Only defects in products manufactured by Canyon stone and Installation are covered under this Warranty. If the products are misused, mishandled, not installed correctly, modified, damaged or altered then this Warranty is void. This warranty specifically excludes damage from contact with chemicals, paint or stain, airborne contaminates causing discoloration, oxidation or staining or damage resulting from building settlement or movement.
- One (1) Year Limited Warranty on Installation performed by Canyon Stone and Installation.
Canyon Stone and Installation will warrant that all installation of material, wherein Canyon Stone and Installation performed the installation, will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. This Warranty is limited to the original owner and is not transferable or assignable. Any action for breach of this Warranty must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from chemical contact, paint or stain, airborne contaminates causing discoloration, building settlement, wall movement or acts of nature. This Warranty is void if the materials installed by Canyon Stone and Installation or appurtenances thereto are misused, mishandled, altered, neglected, modified or damaged.
Claimant must submit within thirty (30) days of discovery, in writing, the nature and evidence of the claim. Failure to provide such written notice constitutes a waiver of the claim. A reasonable amount of time shall be granted to Canyon Stone and Installation to inspect, view and analyze the claim. At the sole discretion of Canyon Stone and Installation either a repair or replacement of any defective product may be performed. This constitutes the sole exclusive remedy under this Warranty.
Any samples provided by Canyon Stone and Installation, (actual, photos, web sites, etc.) are for marketing purposes only and are intended to be an approximation only and shall not create an express or implied warranty. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF HABITABILITY, MERCHANABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. There are nom other warranties that extend beyond the Warranty written on this page.
Canyon Stone and Installation shall not new held liable for incidental, consequential or special damages including without limitation, rental costs, damage or loss to property or equipment, personal injury, or lost profits or revenues. The price paid for Canyon Stone and Installation’s installation includes consideration for limiting the remedies and Canyon Stone and Installations liabilities as set forth herein.
Application of Canyon Stone
The main benefit of Canyon Stone and Installation is that we install our own product. Our masons are the highest trained and most experienced precast stone veneer masons in the industry.
We are experts at installing Canyon Stone in the following applications: Over Rigid Sheathing With Wood Framing, Over Rigid Insulation With Wood Sheathing, Over Open Stud Framing (Wood), Over Rigid Sheathing With Metal Framing, Over Rigid Insulation With Metal Framing, Over Open Stud Framing (Metal), Over CMU Block wall or Unfinished Masonry Surface, Over Poured Concrete Surfaces and Over Tilt-up Concrete Structures. General Information
Canyon Stone is manufactured using lightweight aggregate, portland cement, sand and iron oxide pigments. Canyon Stone weighs between 8 to 12 pounds per square foot. Because Canyon Stone is light weight, no brick ledge or lintels are required for installation. Canyon Stone is non-combustible. Canyon Stone shows no distinguishable change in color after years of weathering. Canyon Stone should be washed when needed. Do not use acids, high abrasives or high pressure wash.
